Forming Worlds Lab

Kapteyn Astronomical Institute · University of Groningen

The Forming Worlds Lab is part of the Kapteyn Astronomical Institute at the Faculty of Science and Engineering of the University of Groningen in the Netherlands.

We investigate the formation and evolution of rocky planets, ultimately seeking to understand the planetary environmental conditions that led to the origin of life on the early Earth, and how widespread such places are in our galaxy.
